Kabul Afghanistan, 1992, Portrait Photographer

On wensday, all seventh grade went to the Islamic Arts Museum. One thing that I remember is Steve McCurry's photograph. It was amazing! I loved to watching the different kinds of pictures, which are taken in different counteries. I coulndn't see all of them becuase, I didn't have much time to see all. And I decided to choose this picture because, it makes me feel to do this.

This picture is one of Steve McCurry's photogarah. The name of this picture is 'Portrait Photographer' which is taken in 1992, Kabul Afghanistan.

The picture is a lot blurry and small. It shows the old man sitting on the old brown bench, which looks like the place where like the photo studio. There are two photos men above the old man's head.

The old man has white beard and wears the white turban on his head. He wears a brown one-piece dress and black jacket. He is smiling like a rabbit. He is touching the red box, near him.

The floor is dirty, it has a lot of dust and rubbish. Also, there is a green bowl, I think it uses for to put money. However, it is empty inside. There is a big red box, it looks like a camera. The size of it is quiet big. It has a long something inside the box and four wooden legs underneath it. There is a picture of someone on the camera.

After I wrote all these imformations in my packet (or in my blog), I felt that this old man looks really poor, although he has a big smile on his face. It's because he doesn't have any money inside or his work shop doesn't look very good. I'm not exactly sure about it. Well, if I am that old man, I will be enjoy myself because I have my own workshop and can earn money. It won't be a lot of money but I will be happy.

(Sorry, the photo is blurry, I can't make it more bigger cause it will have more blurrs!)
