Origin Of My Name
The origin of my name is Chinese litter. Most of Korean use Chinese litter when they named their babies. So my name, “Yoo Dam Son”, 'Yoo' means have, 'Dam' means talking, and 'Son' means grandson/daughter. My sir name is from China, also most of Korean’s sir names was from China.
How Did I Get My Name
I got my name from famous Korean naming center. Most Korean made their names from here,but some of are not. Some of Korean babies got name from their grand parents or thier own parents.In addition, I got my name from that naming centre.To find babies' names, parents give the babies’ birth and times to the person who gave the name to the babies. Then the person gives parents to choose the babies’ names. There will be two or three names on the paper, and parents will choose one of it.
Advantage and Disadvantage if my name
I've got advantage and disadvantage of my name. First, I will introduce about my advantage of my name. If I said I like my name, because my name is uncommon. My mother said that uncommon is good, and that's why she choose this name. In addition, my name is easy to remember, because it is unique name in Korea. For native people, easy to pronounce it. As I have advantage of my name, I have disadvantage of it. When I said my name to people, who asked my name, they always told me that my name is beautiful or unique. I don't agree with them, that means I don't like my name. I don't like my name,and I don't like my name's meaning. When I thinking of my name, I really want to change.
Teased about my name
When I was in 6th grade in Korea, I had a nickname. It was Korean, it started with 'son'. As you know it's my sir name. My friends called me finger. I really hated that name, because it is really weird. I wanted to have pretty nickname. Whenever I told them to stop it, they never stop. Also, I made their names stranger than me. In Malaysia, I also have my nick name too. I still called by that name from my Korean friends. It calls 'yoo ding'. It means a kindergarten student. I've got this name because I'm acting like kindergarten student. This name is from my friend 'Do Hyun'.
I love this name so much, it is better than first nickname from Korea.
I Like My Name
I said I don't like my name,but sometimes I like my name. Because I feel happy when I heard that my name is beautiful.Further more, it's uncommon. I didn't say that I love my name. I still don't like my name little bit, but I hope I will love my name someday.
